Mineral wool Isover Akusto

Isover Akusto mineral wool is a roll-type thermal and acoustic insulation material made from glass fiber, specifically designed for insulating interior partition walls. The product is manufactured by melting mineral raw materials, followed by fiberization using TEL technology, application of a binder, and the addition of mineral oils, which provide hydrophobic properties and reduce dust formation.

The material delivers excellent sound absorption and effective thermal insulation, with a thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.039 W/m·K. The mineral wool is non-combustible, offers a high level of fire safety, and maintains stable performance throughout its service life. Thanks to its elasticity and compressibility, Isover Akusto adapts easily to building structures without losing its shape when installed vertically.

Isover Akusto is easy to install in walls and ceilings with metal or timber framing. Each roll contains two sheets 600 mm wide, matching the standard stud spacing of drywall partition systems. The material is easy to handle and cut, non-toxic, does not attract insects or rodents, has low resistance to water vapor diffusion, and contributes to environmental protection.
