The Air Flow Additive is a special additive designed for preparing cement-based mixtures and cement-sand mortars. It is also suitable for producing concrete for outdoor spaces, terraces, concrete roads, and outdoor concrete products.
Air Flow Additive (produced by Plast-Bet) improves the freeze resistance of the solution or hardened concrete. It is used for installing any type of brick, cellular concrete blocks or lightweight concrete, slabs, tiles, etc., as well as for plastering work both on the exterior and interior of buildings.
When mixed, the Air Flow Additive from Plast-Bet forms a large number of air pores in the structure of the freshly prepared solution or concrete. The additive prevents the separation of the solution, maintains fluidity during technological pauses, and also enhances plasticity and ease of application.
Before use, the Air Flow Additive must be well mixed and diluted with 50% of the recommended water quantity for preparing the concrete mix, then mixed again. It is gradually added to the concrete or mortar mix.
The additive should be used in amounts of 0.25 liters to 0.6 liters for every 50 kg of cement for masonry and plastering works, and 0.5 liters per 50 kg of cement for the concrete solution.
