Planiseal 288 Mapei two-component (A+B) waterproofing mortar for concrete consists of two components: A (cement-based powder) and B (liquid additive), designed to create a durable waterproofing barrier for underground and other concrete structures.

Component A is supplied in 20 kg paper bags. Component B is supplied in 5 kg plastic canisters. The components are mixed at a ratio of 4:1.

Planiseal 288 Mapei has a fluid consistency and is available in grey or white.

Due to its excellent adhesion and elasticity, the material forms a strong waterproof coating resistant to both positive and negative water pressure. It is used for protecting foundations, basements, tanks, tunnels, and other engineering structures, ensuring long-term protection of concrete against moisture ingress and chemical exposure.

Application temperature range: +5°C to +35°C. It is applied in two coats with a total thickness of at least 2 mm. Average consumption: approximately 1.9 kg/m² per millimetre of coating.
