Bicomponent (A) 20 kg mortar for concrete Planiseal 288 Mapei

Two-component mortar (A) for concrete waterproofing Planiseal 288 Mapei is the Component A (cement powder) of the Planiseal 288 two-component system, designed to provide reliable and long-lasting waterproofing for concrete structures, including underground constructions.

Component A is packaged in 20 kg paper bags. The two components are mixed in a 4:1 ratio (comp. A — cement powder, comp. B — liquid additive). The Planiseal 288 Mapei two-component mixture has a fluid consistency and is available in grey and white colors.

Thanks to its excellent adhesion and elasticity, the material forms a strong waterproof coating that resists both positive and negative water pressure. It is used for protecting foundations, basements, tanks, tunnels, and other engineering structures, ensuring durable protection of concrete against moisture and chemical attack.

The mortar is applied at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C, in two layers with a total thickness of at least 2 mm. The average consumption is about 1.9 kg/m² per millimeter of thickness. The complete 25 kg set includes a 20 kg bag (Component A) and a 5 kg canister (Component B).
