Waterproofing mixture Baumacol Protect Baumit

Baumacol Protect Baumit Waterproofing Mixture (20 kg) is a modern single-component material based on cement with added polymers. The mixture is highly elastic, solvent-free, resistant to water while remaining vapor-permeable. It is used for creating reliable seamless waterproofing under ceramic tiles on walls and floors, as well as for protecting balconies, swimming pools, terraces, and other structures (minimum layer thickness — 2 mm).

Baumacol Protect Baumit can also be used as an adhesive for ceramic tiles, especially under conditions of high humidity, elevated temperatures, or sharp temperature fluctuations. Prior to application, absorbent substrates should be primed with Baumit Grund, and in wall–floor or wall–wall junctions, the sealing tape Baumacol Strap must be applied.

Baumacol Protect is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. It provides excellent adhesion to the substrate, withstands a wide range of temperatures (+5 to +35 °C), is easy to work with, and can be prepared for use in just 2–4 minutes.

The consumption of Baumacol Protect Baumit is approximately 1.7 kg/m² per 1 mm of layer thickness, and the pot life of the prepared mixture is about 60 minutes.
