Bicomponent (A) 24 kg mortar for concrete Mapelastic Mapei

Two-component (A) mortar for concrete waterproofing Mapelastic Mapei is Component A (cement powder) of the Mapelastic two-component system, designed to provide reliable and durable waterproofing for concrete structures, including underground applications.

Component A is packaged in 24 kg paper bags. The two components are mixed in a 3:1 ratio (comp. A — cement powder, comp. B — liquid additive). The Mapelastic Mapei two-component mixture has a fluid consistency and is available in grey and white colors. Thanks to its excellent adhesion and elasticity, the material forms a strong waterproof coating that resists both positive and negative water pressure. It is used for protecting foundations, basements, tanks, tunnels, and other engineering structures, ensuring long-term protection of concrete against moisture and chemical attack.

The mortar is applied at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C, in two layers with a total thickness of at least 2 mm. The average consumption is approximately 1.9 kg/m² per millimeter of thickness. The complete Mapelastic Mapei set weighs 32 kg and includes a 24 kg bag (Component A) and an 8 kg canister (Component B).
