Soudal thermal insulation mounting foam is a ready-to-use, self-expanding, one-component polyurethane foam designed to improve the thermal insulation of various surfaces and reduce the risk of thermal bridges. The canister is equipped with a threaded connection for use with a foam gun, and the included spray nozzle allows easy vertical and horizontal application. The foam effectively fills uneven and hard-to-reach areas, ensuring a uniform layer and excellent insulating performance.
The material is suitable for most construction substrates, including concrete, masonry, stone, wood, EPS, drywall, metal panels, and rigid PVC. Soudal thermal insulation foam is widely used for insulating walls, ceilings, lintels, window and door frames, as well as for insulating pipes, attics, basements, balconies, garages, and other technical areas. One 700 ml can covers up to 1 m², forming a layer of approximately 2 cm after curing.
The foam offers excellent adhesion to many materials (except PE, PP, and PTFE), remains flexible after curing, and does not become brittle. With a low thermal conductivity of 0.036 W/mK, it delivers superior insulation performance. The foam effectively seals hard-to-reach areas, reduces heat loss, and prevents the formation of thermal bridges. The free MDI content is below 0.1 %, enhancing safety during application.
