Primer for screed and AAC Baumit Grund is a concentrated, high-quality, deep-penetrating water-polymer primer designed for the preparation of absorbent mineral substrates. The product strengthens the surface, improves adhesion, and evens out the absorbency of the base, providing a reliable foundation for subsequent finishing works. The primer is easy to apply and environmentally friendly.

Baumit Grund, a primer for screed and aerated concrete, is used for treating aerated concrete (AAC/BCA) and other mineral substrates prior to the application of screeds, repair and waterproofing compounds, self-leveling mixes, as well as cement, cement-lime, and gypsum plasters. It is suitable for preparing surfaces for drywall installation, putties, and tile adhesive systems. The primer can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Material consumption depends on the application method: when used undiluted, one 5 kg canister covers approximately 33 m², while when diluted with water at a 1:3 ratio, coverage increases up to 99 m², making Baumit Grund an economical and versatile solution for professional and residential construction projects.
