Polymer additive for grouts Fugolastic Mapei is a high-quality latex-based additive designed to replace water when preparing cement-based grouts Keracolor FF and Keracolor GG. The use of Fugolastic significantly improves the adhesion and mechanical strength of the grout, increases its waterproofing capacity, and enhances abrasion resistance. The resulting grout has a denser, smoother structure, and its color becomes slightly lighter while maintaining long-term stability.

The product is recommended for grouting ceramic tiles and mosaics installed both indoors and outdoors — on façades, balconies, terraces, bathrooms, kitchens, and swimming pools. Fugolastic is ideal for surfaces exposed to heavy traffic or frequent contact with water, as well as for flexible substrates. With the addition of this product, the grout becomes less porous, more durable, and resistant to moisture, temperature fluctuations, and mechanical stress.

Fugolastic Mapei is a water-based dispersion of synthetic polymer developed in the MAPEI laboratories. When combined with Keracolor grouts, it forms an improved cementitious system classified as CG2 according to EN 13888. The additive ensures optimal cement hydration, stronger adhesion to tile edges, reduced water absorption, and easier cleaning of grout surfaces, providing long-lasting durability and a high-quality finish.
