Standard
The OSB-3 Eco Kronospan board (Oriented Strand Board) is a modern wood-based material produced by pressing rectangular wood strands. Originally developed for construction purposes, it has gradually begun to replace plywood and particle board in the furniture industry, especially in elements that require high strength and reliability. Thanks to its structure and production technology, OSB-3 is highly resistant to moisture and has a low swelling rate, making it in demand for frame house construction and other building applications.
The dimensions of the OSB-3 Eco Kronospan board are: length – 2500 mm, width – 1250 mm, thickness – from 10 to 12 mm.
The material is used for roofing, external and internal walls, floors, ceilings, scaffolding, and load-bearing beams. OSB-3 is also applied as a base for bituminous shingles or other roof coverings, in renovation works for partitions, suspended ceilings, temporary fences, and closing construction openings. Due to its strength and versatility, the board is also widely used in the production of transport packaging, pallets, as well as in the furniture industry — for shelves, counters, tabletops, and even load-bearing elements of upholstered furniture.
A distinctive feature of the OSB-3 Eco Kronospan board is its strength, which is 2.5 times higher than that of particle board. The material is widely used for removable formwork in monolithic works, where it can be reused up to 3–5 times. Its versatility and durability make OSB-3 a reliable solution for both professional construction and household applications.
