Mosaik Oskar decorative plaster is a mosaic-effect plaster for interior and exterior finishes. The base composition is a water-based synthetic resin, modified with ceramic microspheres and mineral fillers ranging from 1.2 to 1.8 mm in size.
Mosaik Oskar is a homogeneous paste and is delivered in color tones according to the catalog. The plaster can be applied to any mineral surface, such as lime-cement and cement-lime plasters, gypsum layers, concrete, drywall, thermal insulation systems (polystyrene and mineral wool), as well as on old and wear-resistant coatings. It is recommended for finishing surfaces exposed to heavy wear, such as building facade bases, stair walls, corridors, and others.
It is characterized by excellent adhesion to the substrate, good coverage, and a short drying time. It forms a film that is permeable to water vapor but impermeable to water. It is resistant to scratches, mechanical shocks, alkaline solutions, temperature variations, weathering, and industrial gases.
If the surface to be applied includes metal elements, they must be treated with the anti-corrosion primer Danke! Grund Anti-Rugina beforehand. Before applying the plaster, preparatory work must be completed, including the installation of gutters, cornice protection, joint sealing, and waterproofing.
