Latex additive Isolastic Mapei

Isolastic Mapei latex additive is a specially formulated additive designed to improve the adhesion and elasticity of cement-based adhesives such as KERABOND or ADESILEX. Depending on the mixing ratio, the additive transforms them into enhanced and deformable adhesives of classes C2 S1 / S2, in accordance with European standards EN 12004 and EN 12002. Adding Isolastic increases bond strength, flexibility, and durability of the adhesive layer, even under demanding site conditions.

The mixture of adhesive and additive forms a C2E S2 class adhesive, characterized by high elasticity and excellent adhesion to various substrates. This composition is used both indoors and outdoors for installing all types of ceramic tiles — single or double-fired, clinker, porcelain stoneware, glass mosaic, as well as large-format tiles over 30×30 cm. The adhesive is also suitable for fixing natural stone and other cladding materials subject to mechanical or thermal stresses.

The use of Isolastic improves the flexibility and resilience of the adhesive layer, making it ideal for high-humidity areas, façades, terraces, balconies, and heated floors. When applied correctly, it ensures excellent adhesion even on challenging substrates such as old coverings or slightly deformable surfaces.
