KS polystyrene disc for cutter

KS white polystyrene disc for cutter is a consumable accessory made of high-density polystyrene, designed for use with the WK-FT cutter during the installation of façade thermal insulation systems. It is used to neatly cover fixing points of anchors after recesses have been cut into the polystyrene insulation.

When anchors are installed in insulation boards made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) or extruded polystyrene (XPS), it is necessary to remove protruding fixings and thermally insulate these areas to prevent the formation of thermal bridges. The WK-FT polystyrene cutter creates recesses in the material, and the KS polystyrene disc is inserted into these recesses, covering the anchor and leveling the insulation surface before applying the reinforcing layer (plaster or base coat).

The polystyrene disc acts as a masking and insulating insert for filling the cut holes in insulation boards, improving the thermal performance of the system and preparing the façade for further finishing. The white polystyrene disc has a diameter of 67 mm and a height of 17 mm.
