Profile 3 m UD 28/27/0,6 mm Knauf

The UD 27/28 guiding profile, 4 m long and 0.6 mm thick, is used for the installation of frames for partitions, claddings, and suspended ceilings made of plasterboard. It serves as a basic structural element, ensuring precise geometry, rigidity, and durability of the finished system.

The profile is fixed to the supporting base with the help of hangers — either straight or with a clamp. For easier installation, the edges of the flanges are bent inward and act as a stop when using clamp hangers. The straight hanger is attached with screws, while the wide surface of the profile provides a reliable base for fastening plasterboard sheets with special connectors.

The main function of the UD 27/28 profile is to support the CD stud profile, which is inserted into the guiding track. This system allows for quick and effortless assembly of frames of any complexity, ensuring strength and stability of the structure during construction and finishing works.
