Expanded polystyrene 20 mm Baumit StarTherm

Baumit StarTherm expanded polystyrene consists of façade thermal insulation boards made of graphite-enhanced expanded polystyrene, designed for high-performance external thermal insulation systems. Thanks to the addition of graphite, the material provides improved thermal insulation properties, allowing a significant reduction in building heat losses with a thinner insulation layer compared to traditional white EPS. The boards are characterized by high mechanical strength and long-term dimensional stability.

The material is resistant to weather conditions, does not shrink, features minimal flatness deviations, and is suitable for use in environments with temperature fluctuations. The polystyrene is fire-retardant and complies with the requirements of façade insulation systems. The grey color of the boards is a distinctive feature of graphite-enhanced polystyrene and indicates the product’s increased energy efficiency.

Each board measures 1000 × 500 mm, with thicknesses ranging from 20 to 100 mm, enabling precise selection according to project requirements. Baumit StarTherm expanded polystyrene is used both in new construction and in the thermal renovation of existing buildings, providing durable and efficient façade thermal insulation.
