The one-component cement-based adhesive Mapetherm AR3 Wool Mapei is designed for installing thermal insulation boards made of polystyrene (EPS, XPS) and mineral wool. The material is used in civil and industrial construction, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring reliable bonding of insulation panels to mineral substrates such as concrete, masonry, or plaster. Thanks to its versatility, the product is ideal for insulating façades, attics, basements, heating niches, and double floors.

Mapetherm AR3 Wool Mapei features excellent thixotropy and medium viscosity, allowing easy application on vertical surfaces without tile slippage. It provides perfect adhesion to various types of mineral substrates, does not shrink while drying, and forms a strong and stable layer.

Thanks to its thixotropic properties, Mapetherm AR3 Wool adheres well to walls without running or sagging.

The product can also be used as a reinforcing skim coat with fiberglass mesh for leveling and strengthening insulation surfaces. Developed in the Mapei research laboratories, this material combines ease of application, high adhesion, and durability, ensuring a professional result with minimal effort.
