The adhesive for polystyrene and mineral wool 205 Cottage Kreisel is a specialized dry mix designed for reliable bonding of thermal insulation boards when insulating building facades. It is compatible with a wide range of substrates: from traditional concrete and aerated blocks to ceramic and silicate wall elements. Thanks to its versatile composition, the adhesive can be applied on untreated surfaces as well as on plastered or textured bases.

During application, 205 Cottage Kreisel develops a grey plastic consistency that is easy to spread and ensures strong adhesion both to the substrate and the insulation material. Once hardened, the adhesive becomes water- and frost-resistant, making it ideal for use in challenging climatic conditions. Additional benefits include vapor permeability, slip resistance, and extended open time of the prepared mixture, which simplifies the installer’s work and improves the quality of installation.

From a technical perspective, Kreisel 205 Cottage stands out for its stability and durability. The working time of the prepared mixture is at least 120 minutes, with an adjustment time of up to 10 minutes, allowing convenient application even on large surfaces. Adhesion strength after drying and after 50 freeze-thaw cycles reaches ≥0.5 MPa, while the bonding layer thickness can be up to 20 mm. Material consumption ranges from 4.0 to 7.0 kg/m² depending on the substrate and type of insulation, making it an economical and practical solution.
