Adhesive for AAC blocks UDK TBM

Adhesive for AAC blocks UDK TBM is a dry adhesive mix designed for thin-bed masonry of interior and exterior walls made of dimensionally accurate AAC blocks. It ensures a strong and even joint thickness of 2–5 mm and can also be used for skim coating AAC block walls indoors.

The product features high adhesion to the substrate; after 7 days of curing, cohesive failure occurs within the AAC block material. The adhesive offers a compressive strength of at least 5 MPa, frost resistance of not less than 50 cycles, and water retention of at least 95 %, ensuring long-term durability across a wide service temperature range from –50 °C to +70 °C.

To prepare the mortar, the dry mix is combined with clean water at a ratio of 0.17–0.21 l per 1 kg (4.25–5.25 l per 25 kg bag) and mixed with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is achieved. After mixing, a 5–7 minute technological pause is recommended, followed by re-mixing. The prepared mortar remains workable for at least 60 minutes and allows block position adjustment for approximately 15 minutes.
